Archive for July, 2008

I can’t take too much time right now, but I just wanted to post a few pictures before I get even farther behind.  I especially think we’re overdue for a few more picture of Allani.  She is growing and changing so quickly.

This was earlier this month.  Annie rolled over for the first time a couple of weeks ago.  She has rolled over a few time since then but it still seems to be a work in progress.

Ever since she was born, Annie has had the cutest little classic cry and sad face with her lower lip sticking out.  I don’t think I’ve ever actually heard a baby besides her that actually says "waa waa waa" when she cries (sometimes at least).

Annie just turned 3 months last Sunday and it seems that just a few days before the 3 month mark, she suddenly started smiling so much more.  It is SO fun!  Hyrum really likes to play with her and make her smile.  She was smiling at him in these pictures.

She has also discovered a very fun friend who smiles back every time she smiles without fail.

We’ve been to a lot of fun family gatherings this summer with a few more coming up that we are very excited about.  It is always fun to see family and of course Hyrum loves the extra attention and the chance to get out of the house and play with friends of all ages (cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents) .

Here are some fun pictures Adam took at a recent family reunion.  Hyrum was having lots of fun with his aunt Marie.

Well Hyrum decided to cooperate and let me take his picture, so here are some new ones:

Also we went to the park a while ago and found this neat fire hydrant.  Hyrum liked it a lot.

We had a very nice fourth of July this year. We mostly hung out at the Urry’s house and watched the Centerville parade with them. Hyrum was so excited about going to see the parade, the entire week before he was saying that "the fire trucks will be loud" and that he would watch them with Aunt Marie.

Hyrum wasn’t so excited about them when they got closer.

And here was my favorite car ornament in the parade:

Hyrum wasn’t all the impressed with the fire trucks like we thought he would be, but when they started throwing candy he liked the parade a lot more. He came home with about 2 pounds of taffy.
