Hyrum and Annie continue to grow. Hyrum is getting so big! He is learning to write his name and is able to point out almost all of the capital letters. Annie is eating a lot more foods now and loves puffed rice. She can say “dada” and “ah-oh”. We are trying to get her to say “ma-ma” next. At times it seems like she says “mom” but it is just part of her babbles. She is crawling very well now, she even climbs up our little slide all by her self (not up the steps, the slide). They are lots of fun!

“The joy of motherhood comes in moments.” M. Russell Ballard, “Daughters of God,” Ensign, May 2008, 108–10

Observation: Moments of joy are often not correlated to the lack of clutter in the house.

So I started the process of fishing the object out of her mouth when I caught a whiff of her breath. "Whoa, baby! I know that smell! Where on earth (on our kitchen floor that is- didn’t I just sweep?) did you find garlic?"
I just had to laugh and check that off the list as the new taste for the day.
Annie has learned how to say "Dada". The video should load below after all the images on this page finish loading:
